We are experienced in running art and design workshops in schools, museums, heritage sites, festivals and libraries with a specialist focus on working with children and families.
Between 2011-2016 we were consultant artists for the Thames Festival Trust's Rivers of the World project: an international education programme, delivered in partnership with the British Council's Connecting Classrooms. This has given us skills in creating workshop activities that connect with the school curriculum.
Other organisations we have partnered include:
House of Fairytales / Design Museum / Architecture Foundation / Southbank Centre / Eden Project / V & A Museum of Childhood / Guildford Cathedral / Rochester Guildhall Museum / Chatham Historic Dockyard / STEMnet / Transported / Rochester Art Gallery / The Roundhouse / National Trust
Our workshops draw upon our design expertise within architecture, textile arts and design for performance and film. We introduce participants to paper materials and techniques such as origami, paper engineering, collage, model making and kirigami to explore making work across different art forms. We also work with digital arts. We have produced large scale artworks for exhibition and short films that have involved participants artwork. We also have knowledge of laser cutting technology with access to our own studio equipment for use on projects.
Caroline is qualified to deliver Arts Award (Silver level).
