PUBLIC SPACE + HIGH STREET REGENERATION

NEW WINDOWS ON WILLESDEN GREEN

--------------

ARCHITECTURE FOUNDATION

New Windows on Willesden Green, one of the Mayor's Outer London Fund projects, was delivered for Brent Council and Design for London by The Architecture Foundation in collaboration with Meanwhile Space and Blue Consulting. The project was an exciting opportunity to revive and improve Willesden High Road, bringing positive change to the area.

A curated series of window animations were installed along the High Road marking the 25 days leading up to Christmas. Local shop-owners were paired with emerging designers to produce an advent calendar of window displays. Cabinet of Curiosity were partnered with The Samaritans charity shop and used recycled paper materials for their shop window installation.

New Windows on Willesden Green project received a Regeneration and Renewal award for boosting high street vitality
